CopySafe Web Protection

CopySafe Web Protection provides an easy to implement solution for preventing Print Screen and screen capture in all popular Windows web browsers that support NPAPI plugins (like ArtisBrowser). It was especially designed for images and consequently it is the most secure image protection possible. A small encrypted image will also protect all other media on the page.

It is the most secure protection for images because it uses unique image encryption and domain lock that prevents the image, even if downloaded direct from the server, from being viewed from anywhere except the parent site. CopySafe Web images are safe in any browser cache and even safe from your webmaster.

CopySafe Web encrypted images use Domain Lock to ensure that they can only be viewed from your website. Your images are encrypted using an algorithm based on your domain name to ensure that they cannot be displayed from any other website. The encrypted images stored on the server are safe from everyone, including your management and employees, and are even safe from your webmaster and data center staff.

Protecting all web page media

By adding a small CopySafe Web encrypted image (20 x 20 pixels) to any web page will protect other media from Print Screen and screen capture as well. Although not as secure as the demos above, and media that can be embedded on a web page can be protected such as Flash, PDF and video.

Plugin Support

Plugin installers are available for all popular Windows browsers. Plugin downloads can be provided from your own website or an ArtistScope server. The installers and download pages are provided with the software so that you can customize them to match your own site design. To keep abreast of Internet changes, plugin upgrades and ongoing client support is free and unlimited. When an upgrade is available, the only change needed on your web pages is the version number used in the detection script.
